We would like to provide an update regarding the current condition of the pool water and the ongoing efforts to restore its clarity.
Over the past few weeks, we have experienced several mechanical and chemical controller issues that have contributed to the water becoming murky and green due to algae growth. We understand that this has been frustrating for our members, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding.
We believe we have now addressed the main mechanical and controller issues and are continuing to closely monitor the pool's chemical levels and filtration system. Our team is also making every effort to vacuum and remove the algae that has settled on the bottom of the pool.
However, due to the size and volume of water in our facility, restoring the pool to its normal clarity takes time. To allow us to carry out a more intensive treatment, we have made the decision to close the pool beginning Saturday, October 17th, 2026 with plans to reopen on Monday, October 26th, 2026.
During this closure, we will conduct a major chlorine shock treatment, along with continued vacuuming, filtration and monitoring, to help eliminate the remaining algae and improve water clarity.
We recognize the inconvenience this closure may cause, but we feel this is a necessary step to properly address the ongoing water quality concerns and restore the pool to the standard our members expect.
We will continue to monitor the progress throughout the closure and provide updates should there be any changes to the anticipated reopening date.
Thank you again for your continued patience, understanding and support as we work to resolve these issues
