Bermuda youth club X-Roads Warriors have travelled to the United States this weekend to test themselves at the Virginia Cup, one of the premier junior tournaments on the American East Coast.
The club has entered teams in both the Under-11 and Under-17 age divisions, marking a significant developmental step on the international circuit.
For the majority of the young Bermudian players making the trip, the tournament will provide their first taste of competitive football outside Bermuda as they come up against elite academy and travel sides from across Virginia and the wider mid-Atlantic region.
The weekend showcase offers both age groups valuable exposure to foreign opposition, testing tactical discipline, physicality, and technical ability across multi-game schedules as the club continues to broaden its youth development pathways abroad.
