Bermuda’s young swimmers took to the pool as preliminary heats got under way at the 2026 Junior Pan Pacific Championships inside the UBC Aquatic Centre in Vancouver.
Teagan Mewett produced a strong showing in the 13–18 women's 200m breaststroke, clocking 2:44.18 in the heats to secure 17th place overall.
In the 13–18 men's 50m freestyle, Connor Hupman led the Bermudian trio with a 24.12-second swim to place 30th. Noah Maranzana touched the wall in 25.33 to finish 39th, while Logan Jones followed closely behind in 41st with a time of 25.47.
Katherine Wheddon rounded out the session in the 13–18 women's 50m freestyle, touching in 28.42 to finish 37th in a competitive preliminary field.
