Bermuda junior driver Tanner Correia is continuing to make waves on the international karting circuit following a series of eye-catching performances at the Trackhouse Motorplex in Mooresville, North Carolina.
Testing himself against a competitive field of elite national and club-level racers in back-to-back Karting Challenge Rounds, the rising Bermudian star has proven he belongs at the sharp end of the grid.
Correia laid a solid marker down in June by battling his way to an impressive fifth-place finish.
Building on that momentum, his July campaign showed even greater raw speed among a stacked 26-driver fleet:
Qualifying: Clocked a blistering lap to secure third on the grid.
Pre-Final: Maintained his pace to cross the line in third position.
Final: Fought hard through a frantic race to claim a solid seventh-place finish overall.
Correia's rapid development on track has been aided by expert 1-on-1 coaching from professional driver AJ Myers, helping the youngster refine his race craft, defensive lines, and consistency behind the wheel.
Off the track, the US trips have offered valuable social opportunities, allowing the young driver to build strong friendships and bond with like-minded peers who share his passion for motorsport.
The momentum shows no sign of slowing down as Correia prepares for a busy late-summer schedule in the United States:
Late August: Returning to Trackhouse Motorplex for Round 7 of the Karting Challenge.
