North Village Community Club (NVCC) and BFLA Bermuda are proud to announce a new strategic partnership focused on advancing youth football development, strengthening community engagement, and creating expanded opportunities for the next generation of Bermudian footballers.
The partnership also marks a significant homecoming, as North Village Community Club welcomes one of its own back to the organization after decades away.
David Bascome, who began his football journey with North Village Community Club as a young player, returns through this exciting collaboration between BFLA and NVCC. His return reflects a full-circle moment and reinforces the shared commitment of both organizations to developing young people through sport, leadership, and community service.
This collaboration is focused on creating a stronger future for our players while honoring the foundation that has helped develop generations of Bermudian footballers.
The partnership is designed to provide greater sustainability, structure, and long-term growth for the BFLA Girls Academy while further strengthening its connection to the Bermuda football community. NVCC's proud history of producing talented players and respected leaders makes this a natural fit for the continued development of BFLA.

As part of this evolution, BFLA has restructured its organization and established a new leadership board focused on long-term development, sustainability, and community impact.

Beginning June 6, BFLA will introduce members of its new leadership team to the Bermuda community through a series of weekly announcements.
North Village Community Club President DevRae Tankard welcomed the partnership and Bascome's return to the club.
