The future of motorcycle racing has been mapped out as the official entry list for the 2026 R&G Moto4 British Cup was revealed today, featuring a 24-rider permanent grid that includes Bermuda’s rising star Aeziah Divine.
Spanning nine rounds and 18 high-octane races, the championship serves as a critical rung on the "Road to MotoGP" ladder. This year’s field is arguably the most competitive in the series' history, blending seasoned returning talent with a new wave of international prospects graduated from the world stage.
The global influence on the British Cup is clearer than ever. Seven riders have successfully navigated their way through the FIM MotoMini World Series, including six finalists who have now earned their spots to compete on full-sized circuits.
Among the returning favorites is Ryan Frost, who finished a stellar third in the 2025 standings. Frost will start the season as a clear title contender, but he faces a grid hungry for progression. For Bermuda’s Aeziah Divine, the season represents a vital opportunity to establish his pedigree on the UK’s most iconic tracks as he aims to climb the professional ranks.
The 2026 campaign kicks off in May at the technical Oulton Park circuit with the first of the season’s triple-header weekends. The schedule then moves through a "who’s who" of British motorsport, including stops at Snetterton, Brands Hatch, and Thruxton.
However, the undisputed crown jewel of the calendar arrives in August. The Moto4 British Cup will head to Silverstone to share the stage with the world’s elite at the British Grand Prix. Racing in front of a global MotoGP™ audience offers these young riders a unique shop window to showcase their talent to factory scouts.
The championship will also make its annual pilgrimage to the "Cathedral of Speed" at Assen in the Netherlands before returning to the UK for a grand finale at Donington Park in early October.
There is little time for the riders to settle in. Before the competitive action begins at Oulton Park, the entire 24-rider field will head out on track this weekend for an official pre-season test at Donington Park.
For Divine and his contemporaries, these testing sessions will be crucial for dialing in their machinery and psychological preparation ahead of what promises to be a career-defining season.
