The Bermuda Motocross Association delivered a high-octane spectacle at Southside Motor Sports Park this weekend, with veteran riders and emerging talents alike dominating the dirt in a packed schedule of racing.
In the premier Expert class, Allan DeGraff once again proved to be the man to beat, navigating the technical Southside circuit with precision to take the top spot ahead of a resilient Preston Martin. The victory solidified DeGraff’s position at the summit of the elite field after a series of intense heats.
The youth divisions provided some of the most competitive racing of the day, particularly in the 50cc class where A'kyo Cannonier emerged victorious. Cannonier led a podium that included Ace Moniz and the busy Diego Daniels, who impressed many by also securing the top spot in the PeeWee Division. Daniels was followed in that category by Massiah Smith and Eli Philpott.
In the 65cc division, King Clarke reigned supreme over Cassidy Spencer-Furbert and King-zyahn Browne, while Azai Burt showed exceptional pace to claim the 85cc title ahead of Mazaii Tucker and Tinho Tucker Wall. Burt also made his presence felt in the Novice category, finishing third in a field led by Mikah Alves and runner-up Deige Paynter.
The veteran classes saw experienced campaigners battle for supremacy in the dusty conditions. Aaron Cannonier took the honours in the Over 30 category, fending off challenges from Lorenzo Burch and Willem Vermeulen. Meanwhile, the Over 40 class saw Ben Zoeller produce a clinical performance to finish ahead of Ashley Simmons and Ronald Trott, rounding out a successful day of racing for the Association.
