The Berkeley Institute swept all Divisions in winning the 2026 Senior School Track and Field Championships. Berkeley accumulated 699.50 on their way to another track and field title. Saltus grammar school finished in second with 432 with Warwick Academy finishing in third with 300.33.
Riana Robinson from Saltus grammar was named Under 16 champion after winning the 800 and 1500 meter events while finishing second in the 3000. The Over 16 girls title was shared between two triple winners. Amara Samuels lit the track on fire as the BHS student cruised to wins in the 100 and 200 sprint double. Berkeley's Kelise Wade collected each colour medal after winning the 400, finished second in the 800 and third in the 200 meter events.
Saltus Grammar's Jaeda Grant claimed first in the 800, 1500 and 3000 while Lashee Jones from Berkeley won the sprinting trifecta of 100, 200 and 400 meters. Azari Jones from Berkeley had three second place finishes in the 400, 800 and 1500 meters.
Chaz Edmead scored maximum points for Saltus in the Under 16 Division winning the Long, High and Triple Jump events. Amir Weller also starred, winning the 100 and 200 meters while finishing second in the 400 meters. Saltus' Sanchez Smith followed up his record breaking 3000 meters with two second place finishes in the 800 and 1500.
Surii Russell starred in the Over 16 Division. The Bermuda Institute student won the 800 and 400 meters while finishing second in 200 meters. Other standout performers were Berkeley pair Hurven Burgess who won 200 meter gold while finishing second in the 100 and 400 and Jahir Smith Mora who added silvers in the javelin and shot put to his discus gold. Warwick academy's jackson Langley followed his 1500 meter gold with seconds in the 800 and 3000 meters.
