The Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Association (BMRA) has come full circle as it prepares to host its 2026 AGM this Thursday, March 5th. The meeting will convene at the Bermuda Industrial Union building in Hamilton, starting at 6:00 PM sharp. With membership set at $100 per year, the association is calling on all current and prospective members to help steer the direction of the 2026 season.
Beyond the boardroom, the search is on for the next generation of Bermudian racing stars. The BMRA Youth Academy is officially scouting for new talent, offering a structured pathway for young riders to transition from hobbyists to competitive racers.
Parents with children interested in the "need for speed" are encouraged to attend the AGM for more information. Alternatively, the academy holds open sessions every Saturday at the Rubis Southside Raceway in St. David’s. Registration and sign-ups take place at the track between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM, where aspiring champions can learn the fundamentals of balance, cornering, and race safety under expert guidance.
