Action was fast and furious at the Southside Motor Sports Park for Race Day #5 of the Bermuda Karting Association 2025-2026 Rubis Energy Karting Championship, with several drivers asserting their dominance across the classes.
The day belonged to Ryan Burgess and Tanner Correia, who both secured clean sweeps across their respective classes.
Burgess demonstrated complete control in the TAG Seniors Class, powering his way to victory in all three races contested. Not content with just one class win, Burgess also dominated the high-speed KZ Shifter Class, winning both races on the day.
Meanwhile, young Tanner Correia matched Burgess's winning form by claiming three straight victories in the TAG Junior Class. Correia completed his perfect afternoon by adding another three straight wins in the Cadet Class, showcasing his burgeoning talent.
The L206 Class saw a slightly more split outcome, although Owen DeCosta proved the driver to beat, winning two of the three races. The remaining checkered flag went to Stephen Corrado, ensuring the division remained competitive throughout the day.
The fastest class on the track, the KZ Masters Class, saw the wins shared. Both Will Dunkley and Jason DeCouto took a checkered flag, trading victories in their high-performance shifters.
The results from Race Day #5 confirm the championship is heating up, with drivers like Burgess and Correia setting an exceptionally high standard of performance.
