Elan Daley delivered a stellar performance at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center, recording two personal best times and securing a runner-up finish in the Women’s 100 Yard Freestyle A-Final.
Daley competed in both the 50 Yard and 100 Yard Freestyle events, showcasing strong form in the fast-paced environment.
In the Women’s 50 Yard Freestyle Preliminaries, Daley clocked a new Personal Best time of 22.52 seconds, finishing with the fifth fastest time overall. Despite the impressive result, Daley did not ultimately compete in the A-Final.
However, the speed continued in the Women’s 100 Yard Freestyle Preliminaries. Daley swam another Personal Best time of 48.81 seconds, which was fast enough to finish third and successfully advance to the coveted A-Final.
In the subsequent Women’s 100 Yard Freestyle A-Final, Daley maintained her high performance level, touching the wall in a time of 48.88 seconds to claim a highly respectable second-place finish on the podium.
The two personal bests and a podium finish capped a successful appearance for Daley.
