Howard University Women's Swimming and Diving team continued their impressive run of form, securing a decisive victory over Mount St. Mary's (MD) with a commanding final score of 176.2 to 102.
Myeisha Sharrieff was a key contributor to the team's strong showing, playing her part in both relay and individual backstroke events.
Sharrieff's evening began by leading off the Howard University Women’s 200 Yard Short Course Meter Medley Relay B team. She set a solid pace for her teammates, helping the quartet secure a third-place finish with a combined time of 1:59.53.
In her individual events, Sharrieff proved her strength in the backstroke. She claimed a valuable second-place finish in the Women’s 50 Yard Short Course Meter Backstroke, touching the wall in a quick time of 29.92 seconds.
Later in the evening, she returned to the pool for the Women’s 100 Yard Short Course Meter Backstroke. Sharrieff maintained a high level of performance, finishing third in the event with a time of 1:06.07.
Her consistent podium finishes helped Howard's women's team easily outpace their opponents and maintain their excellent record this season.
