Christian Ebbin and his Tulane University sailing teammates have secured a highly commendable third-place finish at the 2025 College Sailing Match Race National Championship. The prestigious championship regatta was hosted by the Saint Petersburg Yacht Club in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Tulane had earned their automatic qualification for the national championship back in September, following skipper Kelly Holthus’s victory in the Southeast Intercollegiate Sailing Association (SEISA) Match Race Championship.
Holthus once again took the helm as skipper for the national event, leading a crew that included Bermuda's Ebbin, alongside Martha Hughes, Lillie Foster, and Sabrina Anderson. The team demonstrated excellent tactical knowledge and boat handling throughout the competition, consistently performing against the nation's top collegiate match racing programs.
Their third-place finish underscores Tulane’s growing presence in college sailing and provides a strong end-to-season result for the entire crew, including Ebbin, who played a vital role in their success on the water.
