Myeisha Sharrieff and her Howard University Women's Swimming and Diving teammates delivered another strong showing on the road, recording six event victories and several personal bests at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) Tri-Meet.
Howard competed against the host UMBC and the Virginia Military Institute, with the team's depth and skill ensuring a successful outing.
Bermudian swimmer Myeisha Sharrieff contributed important points in the backstroke events, securing two solid finishes:
100 Yard Backstroke: Sharrieff finished third place in the Women's 100 Yard Backstroke, touching the wall in under a minute with a time of 59.77 seconds. 200 Yard Backstroke: In the longer distance, Sharrieff finished sixth place, clocking a time of 2 minutes, 16.87 seconds (2:16.87).
The overall performance at the tri-meet underscores Howard University's successful start to the season as they continue to compete strongly in their various disciplines.
