Logan Watson-Brown delivered several strong performances for the George Washington (GW) Women’s Swimming and Diving team, but her efforts were not enough to prevent a comprehensive defeat, as the Colonials went down to the Navy Midshipmen 148-111.
The day began brightly for GW as Watson-Brown anchored the winning 200 Yard Medley Relay A team. Leading off the relay, she helped establish a commanding position that saw the squad touch the wall in a winning time of 1:41.82, securing an early boost for the visitors.
Competing in the Women’s 100 Yard Backstroke, Watson-Brown proved she could compete individually, securing a solid third-place finish by clocking a time of 56.44.
Later in the competition, she once again took the crucial lead-off leg, this time for the George Washington Women’s 200 Yard Freestyle Relay B team. The squad finished 4th overall, recording a time of 1:36.69.
Despite Watson-Brown's consistent contributions and the initial relay victory, the overall strength and depth of the Navy team proved too much for George Washington to overcome, leading to the final score of 148-111 in favour of the Midshipmen.
