High-Flying Action at Motocross Championships

The Bermuda Motocross Association held a thrilling day of racing for the Bermuda Rubis Energy Motocross Championship on Sunday, October 19th, delivering competitive action across all classes at the Southside track.

Veteran riders and rising youth stars alike put on a show for the crowds, with close battles defining the results in every division.

The premier Expert class saw a strong performance from Allan DeGraff, who dominated the field to claim first place. He was chased hard by Zico Majors in second and Jonah Smith, who completed the podium in third.

Experience paid off in the Masters Divisions:

In the Over-30 category, Lorenzo Burch proved too quick for his rivals, taking the win ahead of Luke Parker in second. Willem Vermeulen finished third.
The Over-40 race was a family affair at the top, with Le-troy Trott claiming the victory over Ronald Trott, who finished second. Ben Zoeller secured third place.

Young rider A'jahni Foggo impressed spectators by competing in and winning two divisions, showing great versatility and endurance:

He topped the podium in the Novice class, ahead of Z'naz Jones in second and Anyari Persad in third.
Foggo also claimed the victory in the 85cc class, with Azai Burt taking second and Tinho Tucker Wall third.

The day was kicked off by the stars of tomorrow, who delivered exciting races in the junior classes:
65cc: King Clarke secured the top spot, with Cassidy Spencer-Furbert coming in second and Rome Dill finishing third.
50cc: A'kyo Cannonier took the win, followed by Ace Moniz in second and Ade Stovell in third.
PeeWee: The club’s youngest riders navigated the course successfully, with Eli Philpott claiming the victory. Massiah Smith and Diego Daniels finished second and third, respectively.
