McDaniel College men's golf team, featuring Bermuda first-year Dylan Muso, has claimed the team title at the Mason-Dixon Collegiate Classic in a thrilling one-stroke victory over rival Gettysburg.
McDaniel carded a final team total of 582 (six-over par) across the two rounds at Waynesboro Country Club, just edging out host and Centennial Conference rival Gettysburg, who finished on 583.
The victory marks McDaniel's sixth Mason-Dixon Collegiate Classic championship, the most in the event's 14-year history, and their first since 2019. The team’s strong performance was anchored by an exceptional first-round 287, which is tied for the event’s lowest single-round total ever.
Muso finished the tournament tied for 24th place in the individual standings. Muso totaled a 5-over par 145 for the 36-hole event, following his strong opening day with a 4-over par 76 in the final round.
Host Gettysburg’s 'B' team finished in a tie for third with Dickinson at 584, while Franklin & Marshall came in fifth with a 585, highlighting the tight competition at the top of the leaderboard.
