Shaun Goater, Assistant Coach for Aston Villa Women, celebrated a critical WSL victory over West Ham, winning 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium.
After a goalless first half, Villa seized control with two quick strikes. The opener was a goal of the highest quality, with attacker Kirsty Hanson receiving the ball 20 yards out and firing a hammer of a strike into the top corner. Aston Villa quickly added a second goal to wrap up the 2-0 win.

FA Cup & League Action: Goals and Progress
K’Shaela Burch-Waldron led the charge for her Sutton United Women teammates in the Adobe Women's FA Cup, scoring two crucial goals in a 5-2 victory over Penn & Tylers Green. Burch-Waldron’s first, a wonderful header, put Sutton ahead 2-1 in the 22nd minute, and her second, the eventual winner, made it 3-1 in the 38th.
Camryn Lines’s Bridgwater United Women FC advanced in the FA Women’s Cup with a dominant 8-1 win over Bursledon Ladies. Jahni Simmons’s Coventry Sphinx Ladies also advanced, securing a 5-1 victory over Femina Laurifer.
