Grimes Under 13 & Holder Under 15 Knock Out Quarter-Finals

The Gregory Grimes Under 13 and Leonard DeRosa Holder Under 15 Knock-Out Quarter-Finals delivered a barrage of goals, with several teams securing huge victories to stamp their authority on the competition.

PHC Zebras 0 Somerset Trojans 1


In a tight affair, Somerset Trojans advanced with a narrow 1-0 victory over the PHC Zebras at the PHC Stadium.

The lone goal of the game came from Caden Burgess.

North Village Rams 1 Vasco 3

Vasco came from a goal down to defeat the North Village Rams 3 - 1 at Bernard’s Park.

Cree Bean gave North Village the lead in the first minute, but Roman Gaglio equalized for Vasco in the 24th minute as the teams went to the break with the score level at 1 - 1.

Vasco got goals from Ryan Renaud, and Damian Moniz in the 56th, and 70th minutes to earn the win.

Devonshire Colts 0 FC Bascome 17

FC Bascome delivered a stunning 17-0 defeat to Devonshire Colts at the Shelly Bay Field. The scoring was led by Mackay Browne with six goals and Ajani Trott with five.

Dage Butterfield scored twice, Shiloh Stevens, Ben McQueen, Charlie Kilborn, and Oran Lynch all added a goal each.

WA BOCA 7 FC Bascome 0

WA BOCA also showed their dominance, blanking FC Bascome’s other side 7-0 at Warwick Academy Field.

Caleb Mell scored twice, while Casano Dickinson, and Lucas Nathi added a goal each as WA BOCA held a 4 - 0 lead at the break.

In the second half WA BOCA got a second from Dickinson, and single strikes from Karoli Oloya, and Lorcan McGynn in their win.


Leonard DeRosa Holder Under 15 Knock-Out Quarter-Finals

PHC Zebras 10 Dandy Town Hornets 0


PHC Zebras were ruthless, defeating the Dandy Town Hornets by a huge 10-0 margin at the PHC Stadium.

The PHC Zebras got four first half strikes from Stephen Astwood, and single strikes from Amir Weller, and Rufaro Kunze to lead 6 - 0 at the break.

They added four goals in the second half with Weller, and Kunze both adding their second goals of the game, while Evan Hayward, and Azai Dyer both also getting in on the scoring act.

Devonshire Colts 4 (4) Southampton Rangers 4 (2)

The tightest match of the day required penalties: Devonshire Colts and Southampton Rangers finished level at 4-4 after regulation time. The Colts fought back from a 3-1 halftime deficit, and ultimately secured their place in the semi-finals, winning the shootout 4-2.

Southampton Rangers got three goals from J Hayward within the first 18 minutes, Devonshire Colts pulled a goal back through a T Franklin strike in the 33rd minute.

Deshun Martin restored the Southampton Rangers lead early in the second half, but the Devonshire Colts got two goals from Cade Thompson, and a single strike from Zaion Simmons to draw level.

Devonshire Colts would then win 4 - 2 on the penalty kicks.

North Village Rams 1 Somerset Trojans 8

Somerset Trojans put on a dominant display, defeating the North Village Rams 8-1 at Bernard’s Park.

Deacon Wade, and Nahi Reid-Anderson gave the Somerset Trojans a 2 - 0 lead at the break.

The Somerset Trojans would get two goals from Marlon Harvey, and single strikes from Zydon Furbert, Krayvon Burchall, Shannon Smith, and Jaylen Maderios in the second half to complete the rout, while Chaz Edmead scored the lone goal for the North Village Rams.

Warwick FC 0 FC Bascome 16

FC Bascome’s scoring frenzy continued in this age group, defeating Warwick FC 16-0 at Warwick Academy Field.

FC Bascome got six goals from Jeon Wolffe, while Brayton Browne added a hat-trick, Kyron Bryan and Cairo Burgess both added two goals each, and they would get single strikes from Micah Doran, Remi Furbert, and Xonti Burch.
