IslandStats.com
The Bermuda Premier Division delivered an action-packed weekend of football, featuring a dramatic late winner, a disallowed penalty comeback, and a narrow victory for the PHC Zebras.

Young Men Social Club 1 Dandy Town Hornets 2

At the Devonshire Recreation Club, the Dandy Town Hornets secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Young Men Social Club, though the result was tighter than they would have liked.

David Jones Jr. proved to be the difference-maker, giving the Hornets the lead just on the stroke of halftime. Jones then doubled Dandy Town's advantage in the 64th minute.

Social Club responded swiftly, with Zeiko Lewis pulling a goal back in the 75th minute to set up a tense finish. Despite their best efforts, Social Club could not find the crucial equalizer, leaving the Hornets with a precious three points.

Paget Lions 1 X-Road’s 2

The most dramatic match of the round took place at the Southampton Oval, where X-Road’s stole a 2-1 victory against the Paget Lions with a winner deep into stoppage time.

Shakir Smith had given the Paget Lions the lead early, scoring in the 13th minute with a left-footed strike from the edge of the box.

The match remained 1-0 until the 69th minute when Samuel McKittrick levelled the scores for X-Road’s. The drama escalated in stoppage time when the Paget Lions won a penalty. The spot-kick was missed, hitting the post, and a subsequent rebound header found the net, but the goal was ruled out for offside, causing immediate heartache for the home side.

From the resulting kick, X-Road’s launched a rapid counter-attack, and Donovan Thompson scored the devastating winner from inside the box, clinching a dramatic victory for his side.

PHC Zebras 1 St. George’s Colts 0

In the final match of the round at the PHC Stadium, the PHC Zebras secured a narrow 1-0 victory over the St. George’s Colts.

The defensive battle saw a scoreless first half, but the deadlock was broken in the 57th minute by Enrique Rusell. Running down the left flank, Russell beat two defenders before squeezing his shot past the keeper at the near post to secure all three points for the Zebras.
