The 2025/26 Bermuda Karting Club season got off to a flying start at the Southside Moto Sports Park, with a day of competitive racing and multiple winners across all classes.
In the TAG Senior Class, it was a two-way battle for the top spot, with Ryan Burgess claiming victory in two of the three races. The remaining race was won by Nathan DeCosta, showing that the championship will be a tight contest this year.
The TAG Junior Class saw a similar split of results. Alondro Albouy took home two wins, while Tanner Correia secured a victory of his own, setting the stage for an exciting rivalry throughout the season.
The L206 Senior Class was dominated by Jason North, who won two of the three races. The other victory went to David Barbosa, who showed strong pace and will be a contender in the championship. Meanwhile, in the Masters Class, Kenneth Harrison had a flawless start to the season, taking the checkered flag in all three races.
In the KZ Shifter category, it was Ryan Rebello who took command with two wins on the day. Blake Horseman fought hard to secure the other victory, ensuring the class remains highly competitive. The KZ Masters Class saw a double victory for Jason DeCouto, while Will Dunkley won the other race.
Finally, in the CADETS Class, Tanner Correia was in a class of his own, winning all three races and showing impressive skill and consistency to start his season.
