Week two of the Continental Bowling League's 2025/26 season brought a mix of dominant victories and a crucial, nail-biting finish.
League leaders The Invaders held on to their top spot after a hard-fought battle against the fourth-placed Astronauts. The Invaders ultimately prevailed by the narrowest of margins, winning 14-13, a result that keeps them at the summit of the table.
Elsewhere, the Nifty Rollers, currently in second place, delivered a strong performance to defeat Spicenix with a score of 18-9, maintaining pressure on the leaders. The Under Dawgs, sitting in third, secured the most dominant victory of the week, with a commanding 24-3 win over Sunset.
In other action, New Hope defeated the Cubs 19-9, while the Odd Balls had a bye this week. The results from the second week suggest a highly competitive season lies ahead, with several teams looking to challenge for the top spots.
