Bermudian sailors Jordan Vieira and Paul Rodrigues Jr. contributed to Eckerd College's fourth-place finish at the SAISA South Top Six race, the first of two regattas for the team this weekend.
The Tritons' A team, comprised of Avery Guck and Rodrigues Jr., had an impressive performance, securing the second-best point total of their group with 58 points. The duo achieved five top-five finishes on the day, including a second-place standing in the third race.
Meanwhile, Vieira and his B team partner, Tia Soultanakakis, concluded the day with 93 points, placing them fourth in their group. The pair started strong with a fourth-place standing in the opening race and ended with their second-best result, finishing eighth in the final race of the day.
The Eckerd C team collected 133 points, with their best performance being a seventh-place finish in the regatta's opener.
