The 2025 Summer Junior League at the Golfzon Leadbetter Academy Bermuda Five Forts came to an exciting close despite the final round being rained out. The league ran from July 2, 2025 through September 2, 2025.

With nine weeks of competitive golf already completed, league standings were used to determine the champions in each division.

The winners of the three divisions were each awarded the first Junior Memberships at Five Forts Golf Club, a prize that will allow them to continue developing their games at one of Bermuda’s premier golf facilities.

The awards presentation was held at The Astor Ballroom, with Resort Manager Mr. Leslie Prea, Assistant Manager Mr. Andreas Senn and Golf Operations Manager Mr. Alex Capitilo all on hand to congratulate the players alongside parents and supporters.

Golfzon Leadbetter Academy Bermuda is already making an impact on the local junior golf scene. This undertaking provided a consistent platform over the summer months for young golfers to display their talents. According to GLA Director Of Instruction, Quinton Sherlock Jr., “This is only a glimpse of the possibilities and what’s to come for junior golf and the development of the game on the island from GLA Bermuda.”
