Cox Competes in Southern Fist at Wushu Championships

Bermuda's Kaelin Cox has begun his campaign at the 17th World Wushu Championships in Brasília, Brazil, with a respectable performance in his first event. Cox, taking to the Taolu carpet for his choreographed Southern Fist routine, finished 26th out of 44 competitors, earning a score of 8.753.
Cox was optimistic about his performance and has already set his sights on his next events. "I am pleased with my first event performance," he said. "I now know what I need to work on for my next two performances in the competition."
The World Wushu Championships, a biennial event, is the pinnacle of competitive wushu, with over 800 participants from 70 countries and regions. It will be held from August 31st to September 7th.
