Bad weather has halted the Agadir Invitational on the Clutch Pro Tour, with Bermudian golfer Daniel Augustus forced to suspend his first-round play due to a flooded course.
The event, a Tier 2 tournament on the tour, is being held at the historic Hever Castle Golf Club. Augustus was 3-over par through 16 holes when play was stopped, with his scorecard showing two birdies, ten pars, three bogeys, and one double bogey.
Augustus will return to the course tomorrow morning to complete his opening round before beginning his second, weather permitting. The postponement is a frustrating setback, but he will be focused on a strong finish to his round to put himself back in contention. The Agadir Invitational is a key event on the Clutch Pro Tour, which serves as a developmental platform for aspiring professionals.
