Bermuda's Jaden Masters and her University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM) women's soccer teammates showed their resilience, coming from behind to secure a 2-1 victory over Little Rock. The win marks the Warhawks' second consecutive victory.
Little Rock got off to a fast start when Maria Schuller broke away and found the back of the net in the eighth minute. However, ULM's response was swift. A corner kick from Margret Edda Bjarnadottir led to a header from Libby Holmes, which was then finished by Vienna Tokam for her first career goal. The goal was a true team effort, with assists going to both Holmes and Bjarnadottir.
ULM took the lead before halftime after a free kick by Ally Richardson found Stacey Qosja, who then passed it to Skylar Blaise. Blaise, in her first career goal, tucked away her third goal of the season, and the 14th of her career. Despite Little Rock's fight to find an equalizer, the Warhawks held on to their 2-1 lead to close out the match, securing a hard-fought victory.
