Armstrong was a key part of Dayton's attack, logging 82 minutes on the field. The Bermudian midfielder registered four shots, two of which were on target, as his side pressed for a winning goal. The team's offensive effort was led by senior Ethan Sassine, who had five shots, three of which were on goal.
Ultimately, neither team could break the deadlock, leaving Dayton to settle for a draw to begin their highly anticipated season.
