The Bermuda Football Association has released its full schedule for the start of the 2025-26 season, promising a packed calendar of local and international football action.
The new season will get underway with the traditional curtain-raiser, the Charity Cup, on Sunday, August 31st. The match will see the North Village Rams take on the Dandy Town Hornets at 8 pm, with the victor claiming the season's first piece of silverware.
The Dudley Eve competition will then kick off on Monday, September 1st. In a busy night of group-stage action, the St. George's Colts face X-Roads at 6 pm in Group C, while a Group B clash will feature the PHC Zebras against the Devonshire Cougars at 8 pm.
The pinnacle of the week, however, will be on Friday, September 5th, when all roads lead to the National Sports Centre. The FIFA World Cup Qualifiers begin on home soil as Bermuda takes on Jamaica at 7 pm, in what is arguably the biggest match of the year.
Domestic action will resume after the international break, with the Dudley Eve competition continuing throughout the weekend. On Saturday, September 6th, the Paget Lions and the Boulevard Blazers meet in a Group A match at 7 pm, followed by the Dandy Town Hornets and North Village Rams at 9 pm. The weekend concludes on Sunday, September 7th, with the Devonshire Cougars taking on Young Men Social Club at 6 pm, and the St. George’s Colts facing the Devonshire Colts at 8 pm.
