Bermudian footballer Kalen Brunson and his QPR Under-21 teammates battled back from a two-goal deficit to earn a point in a hard-fought 2-2 draw with Peterborough United Under-21s.
The visitors were on the back foot for much of the first half at the Bespoke Builds Training Ground. Peterborough started at a blistering pace, and a strong first-half showing saw them take a commanding 2-0 lead into the break with a long-range effort and a breakaway goal.
However, Brunson and his team emerged from the interval with renewed energy and a more attacking intent. Their efforts paid off in the second period as they scored twice to draw level, ultimately securing a share of the points and demonstrating significant resilience after falling behind.
The result is a valuable point away from home for the young QPR side, who will now turn their attention to their next fixture in the Professional Development League.
