The Bermuda Football Association has officially launched its crucial final-round qualifying campaign for the FIFA World Cup, with the Senior Men’s National Team set to face a challenging schedule in September.
Bermuda has been drawn into Group B for this final stage of CONCACAF qualification, where they will face regional powerhouses Jamaica, Curacao, and Trinidad and Tobago.
The team's campaign kicks off on home soil on Friday, September 5th, with a highly anticipated match against rivals Jamaica. The fixture will be held at the Flora Duffy South Field Stadium at the National Sports Center.
Following the home opener, Bermuda will travel to take on Curacao on Tuesday, September 9th. That match will be played at the Stadion Ergilio Hato in Willemstad.
The official launch was marked by a press conference featuring Minister of Tourism, Transport, Culture & Sport Owen Darrell and Bermuda Football Association’s First Vice President Shannon Burgess.
