Bridgwater United Women FC have announced the signing of Bermudian international Camryn Lines, a young player who brings a wealth of experience and versatility to the Somerset-based side.
Lines has a notable background in Bermudian football, having represented the country at the U14, U15, U17, U20, and senior levels. She made her debut for the National Women's Team in an international friendly last summer and has consistently challenged herself by playing in boys' leagues throughout her youth career. Her talent has been recognised with a nomination for Youth Player of the Year in the Women's Summer League.
Lines has already impressed her new Head Coach, Steve Perkins, during the pre-season. Perkins praised her impact, stating, "Camryn is very athletic, strong, tenacious and has a great delivery and strike on her. She can play in a number of positions, which is a great bonus for us too, but her impact in a short space of time is exciting and I can't wait to see where this can take her and the team."
Commenting on the move, Lines said she felt immediately at home. "The club puts their players first, prioritising a welcoming environment which has allowed me to fit right in," she said. "It already feels like home away from home."
