The Bermuda Bicycle Association has officially announced its team that will travel to Barbados to compete in the 2025 Caribbean Junior Cycling Championships on August 30th and 31st.
The five-strong team is comprised of both male and female riders, all of whom will be competing in both the Time Trial and Road Race events. The squad features Charlotte Millington, Skye Ferguson, Andrew Thomas, Keon Stevens, and Jacob Wright.
Millington recently made her Junior Pan American Games debut, competing in the women’s individual time trial. Against a strong field of the continent’s best young riders, Charlotte delivered a determined performance, placing 13th with a time of 40:56.76.
Millington will be back on the start line for the Road Race this Sunday.
The championships represent a crucial development opportunity for the island's most promising young cyclists, providing them with a platform to test their abilities against the best in the region. The team's participation underscores the Bermuda Bicycle Association's commitment to nurturing the next generation of local talent.
