Bermudian golfer Daniel Augustus has begun his campaign at The Mannings Heath Masters, a prestigious event on the Clutch Pro Tour, with an opening round of one-over par 73.
Augustus, competing on the Mannings Heath Estate course, started his round on the front nine and faced a challenging start, making the turn at two-over par. However, he showed great resilience on the back nine, fighting back to finish the day with a solid score.
His round consisted of four birdies and nine pars, which were offset by five bogeys. The performance sets up a crucial second round for Augustus as he aims to make the cut and advance in the most anticipated golf event in Horsham and West Sussex.
