Bermudian international Nahki Wells and his Luton Town team continued their strong start to the new League One season, securing a 2-0 away victory over Peterborough to make it six points from six.

Elsewhere, it was a mixed bag of results for Bermudian footballers playing across the English leagues, with a number of players starting their seasons with wins, draws, and defeats.

Kane Crichlow was part of the Sutton United team that earned a late 2-2 draw with York City. Meanwhile, Keziah Martin and Deniche Hill saw their Buxton side start with a 2-1 win over Radcliffe. Martin was a second-half substitute in the victory, while Hill was an unused substitute.

Needham Market, with Reggie Lambe, began their season with a heavy 4-0 defeat to Harborough Town. Milan Butterfield and Willie Clemons went head-to-head as their Halesowen Town and Leiston teams played out a hard-fought 2-2 draw.

In other results, Harry Twite’s Loughborough Student FC drew 1-1 with Wellingborough Town. Justin Donawa was an unused substitute as his Brackley Town side edged Eastleigh 1-0 in their National League opener. Roger Lee's Heanor Town drew 2-2 against Melton Town, while Aunde Todd’s Binfield FC lost 4-1 to Horndean.

Brighton Morrison, who recently signed for Windsor and Eton, came off the bench to help his new team to a 1-0 victory over Ardley United. Finally, Ayleal Dill and Southwell City FC began their season with a solid 2-0 win over West Bridgford.
