The next generation of Bermudian golfers are making waves at the Five Forts G.C./G.L.A. Bermuda Junior Golf Development Summer League.
Now six rounds in, the summer league has brought together young golfers across multiple age groups and skill levels to compete in structured weekly events designed to foster growth, discipline, and a deeper understanding of the game.
The league, which runs throughout the summer, features multiple tee divisions and scoring formats to provide a developmental pathway for all players—from beginners to advanced juniors. Each round includes full or partial course play, with divisions based on tee placement and format (Stroke Play or Stableford).
“This league isn’t just about competition—it’s about building a strong foundation for future champions,” said Quinton Sherlock, Director of Instruction at Golfzon Leadbetter Academy Bermuda. “We’ve seen remarkable improvement in both skill and confidence among the players, and it’s exciting to watch them embrace the game with such enthusiasm.”
