Cyclist Kaden Hopkins continues to impress at the 74th Tour Cycliste International de la Guadeloupe, earning the "Most Combative Rider" award after a strong performance in Stage 7.
The 140.5km stage, which ran from Petit-Canal to Le Moule, was won by Paul Daumont, who crossed the line with a time of 3:13:59. Hopkins finished in 15th place, clocking a time of 3:17:33, just over three and a half minutes behind the stage winner.
Hopkins's spirited ride has helped him to climb the overall standings, where he now sits in 29th place with a combined time of 25:14:38. He is currently 29 minutes and 13 seconds behind the overall race leader, Camilo Andrés. The "Most Combative Rider" award recognises the rider who demonstrates the most spirit of sportsmanship and effort during the stage.
