Harry Twite and his Loughborough Student FC teammates have been knocked out of the Emirates FA Cup, losing 2-1 to Barton Town FC in their Extra Preliminary Round replay.
The two teams faced off at the EasyBuy Stadium after Barton secured a late equaliser in the first match to force a replay.
Despite a hard-fought battle, it was Barton who ultimately progressed to the next round with a 2-1 victory, ending Loughborough Students' cup run for this season. Twite, who was part of the squad, will now turn his focus to the upcoming league campaign with his teammates.
