Bermudian cyclist Nicholas Narraway put in a strong performance in Stage Two of the Vuelta a Zamora in Spain, representing his team Tenerife-BikePoint-LaSedeBycicles.
The 149.2 km course, which took riders from Villalpando to Toro, proved to be a demanding test. Narraway finished the stage in 42nd place with a time of 3:16:12.
The stage was won by Jose Maria Martin, who clocked a time of 3:07:37. Narraway's time was 8 minutes and 35 seconds behind the stage winner, a respectable result in a highly competitive field.
Narraway will now turn his attention to the upcoming stages as he looks to continue his progress in the multi-day race.
