Bermuda's Olympian Jack Harvey was back in action today at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships, taking to the pool at the prestigious WCH Arena in Singapore for the Men's 200m Backstroke.
Swimming in Lane 2 of Heat 2, Harvey put in a strong performance, finishing 4th with a time of 2 minutes, 1.50 seconds (2:01.50).
While a solid swim on the world stage, Harvey narrowly missed his own Bermuda Men’s 200m Backstroke record. That record, a time of 2:01.05, was set by Harvey himself just a few months prior on May 1st, 2025, during the TYR Pro Swim Series in Fort Lauderdale.
Harvey's time in Singapore placed him 32nd overall in the event. The experience at these World Championships continues to be invaluable for the Bermudian swimmer as he competes against the globe's elite.
