Joshua Joseph signed a contract with Cheadle Heath Nomads, located in Manchester, England

Cheadle Heath Nomads Football Club is a football club based in Cheadle Heath, Stockport, Greater Manchester, England. They are currently members of the North West Counties League Division One South and play at the Heath.

Ryan Conroy, Manager of the Cheadle Heath Nomads had this to say “It is with great pleasure and excitement that I can confirm that Josh will be signing with Cheadle Heath Nomads, Manchester UK for the 25/26 season.

For the past year, I have been tracking his progress and have been blown away by how dynamic and fluid he is in his play. My hope is that Nomads will provide the canvas for Josh to express himself in the UK and ultimately use his time with us as a springboard to reach the heights of the full-time professional game.

The work that the coaches at Thomas College have done with Josh is nothing short of exceptional and I look forward to liaising with them moving forward to assistant Josh on his soccer journey. Congratulations on your graduation and I’m looking forward to seeing you in Manchester soon.”

As the new football season looms, a host of Bermudian talents have been putting in the hard yards during pre-season, with varying fortunes across the English leagues. From Premier League clashes to academy tests, the island's contingent has been making their mark.

Striker Nahki Wells and his Luton Town teammates concluded their pre-season preparations with an impressive goalless draw against Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur at Kenilworth Road. In front of over 10,000 enthusiastic fans, the Hatters delivered a controlled and disciplined performance, providing an ideal warm-up for their League One opener against AFC Wimbledon next Friday.

Wells was a constant threat, drilling a free-kick into the Spurs wall after 14 minutes following a foul on Jordan Clark. Later, in the 24th minute, the Bermudian was involved in another attacking move, firing wide after a fine pass from Keeley, though the effort was ultimately ruled offside. The draw ensures Luton head into the new campaign with an unblemished pre-season record.

Keziah Martin and Deniche Hill celebrated a significant victory as their Buxton Football Club secured a 3-2 win over Manchester City's Academy at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium. The result will be a confidence booster for Buxton, with Hill, recently released by Leicester City in early June, looking to make an impact at his new club.

Kole Hall was not in action for Chorley, but his side fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat against Warrington Town FC at the Cal.Delivery Stadium.

Kane Crichlow enjoyed a winning outing, as his Sutton United FC triumphed 4-2 over Crystal Palace Academy.

Reggie Lambe and his Needham Market teammates played out a 2-2 draw with Aveley at Bloomfields, sharing the spoils in a competitive encounter.

Defender Harry Twite helped his Loughborough Student FC teammates earn a hard-fought 0-0 draw away at the Hartpury University Stadium against Hartpury FC, showcasing defensive solidity.

In an all-Bermudian clash, Justin Donawa's Brackley Town FC emerged victorious, defeating Milan Butterfield's Halesowen Town teammates 4-0 at Aggborough Stadium. Donawa's Brackley side showed their strength in a dominant performance.

Finally, Willie Clemons and his Leiston FC teammates went down 3-2 to Billericay Town FC in a high-scoring affair.
