Bermudian cyclist Nicholas Narraway, representing Tenerife-BikePoint-LaSedeBycicles, has successfully completed the Vuelta a Castilla y León, concluding his participation in the five-stage Spanish road race with a solid performance in the final leg.
The fifth and concluding stage saw the peloton tackle a 117.4 km course, stretching from Arroy de la Encomienda to the finish line in Medina del Campo. Narraway demonstrated his resilience and ability to stay with the main group, crossing the line in 64th position. Crucially, his time of 2 hours, 24 minutes, and 7 seconds was identical to that of stage winner Cusack Nathan, indicating he finished within the leading pack for the stage.
In the overall general classification, Rey Martin was crowned champion with a combined time of 15 hours, 30 minutes, and 33 seconds. Narraway concluded the demanding multi-stage race in 68th place overall, recording a total time of 15 hours, 54 minutes, and 2 seconds. This placed him 23 minutes and 29 seconds behind the eventual race winner.
