IslandStats.com
Bermuda has concluded a memorable Island Games campaign in Orkney by securing two magnificent gold medals in football, bringing their total medal haul to five. The final day saw both the women's and men's national teams ascend to the top of the podium.

The Women's National team delivered a dramatic victory in their final, defeating Jersey 4-2 on kicks from the penalty mark after a goalless deadlock through regulation and then 1 - 1 after extra time. Bermuda were down 1 - 0 in the extra-time period before Khyla Brangman found the net. In the shootout Bermuda kept their composure under pressure and secured a well-deserved gold.

Following suit, the Under 23 Men's team put in a dominant performance in their final against Western Isles, clinching a decisive 3-1 win to claim Bermuda's second gold medal of the day, capping off an exceptional tournament for the football programme.

In Athletics, the endurance events saw Bermudian representation. Sean Trott competed in the Men's Half Marathon, finishing 19th with a time of 1 hour, 17 minutes, and 41 seconds. Gayle Lindsay also put in a strong effort in the Women's Half Marathon, crossing the line in 6th place with a time of 1 hour, 25 minutes, and 22 seconds.

Bermuda ends the 2025 Island Games with a total of five medals: two gold, two silver, and one bronze, a testament to the dedication and talent of the island's athletes across various disciplines.
