Nathan Trott and his FC Copenhagen teammates have officially returned to training, marking the start of their preparations for the demanding 2025/26 season. Head coach Jacob Neestrup expressed his anticipation for having the squad back on the pitch.
The initial days of pre-season have seen the squad divided into groups for various physical tests, ensuring a measured approach to building fitness. Full training sessions have now commenced as the Danish champions ramp up their efforts ahead of a campaign that includes UEFA Champions League qualifying.
"It's very simple. We are slowly introducing the players into the pre-season to ensure that everyone hits the right load at the right pace," explained Jacob Neestrup.
The head coach also outlined the broader objectives for the pre-season camp. "The training camp will be used to integrate the new players into the squad and staff, while we continue to cultivate the players' strong team spirit and competitive nature," Neestrup stated. "It is also about strengthening and further developing our game, as there are still several phases and situations where we can perform better."
For Bermudian goalkeeper Nathan Trott, who played a significant role in Copenhagen's Danish Superliga title win last season, this pre-season is crucial as he aims to solidify his position and prepare for potential Champions League football.
In a show of appreciation for their loyal support, fans were given a special opportunity to meet Trott and his teammates for autograph signings at Copenhagen City Hall, underlining the strong connection between the club and its community.
