 Maddie Schindel IslandStats.com The Bermuda Triathlon Association's Super Sprint Series delivered another exciting day of multi-discipline racing today at Clearwater Beach, with three distinct distances crowning new champions.
In the challenging Standard Distance – comprising a 200m swim, three laps on the bike, and two laps on the run – Maddie Schindel put in a superb performance to clinch victory. Schindel stopped the clock with a winning time of 25 minutes and 28 seconds, demonstrating her all-round strength across the disciplines.
The slightly shorter 100m swim, three-lap bike, and one-lap run distance saw Caelan Cabral claim the top spot. Cabral delivered a strong showing to cross the line in 20 minutes and 16 seconds, highlighting his speed over the compact course.
Finally, in the 100m swim, two-lap bike, and one-lap run distance, Austen Carr emerged victorious. Carr completed his race in an impressive 17 minutes and 53 seconds, proving to be the fastest over this specific Super Sprint format.
The series continues to provide a fantastic platform for triathletes of all ages and abilities to compete in a friendly yet competitive environment, showcasing the depth of talent within Bermuda's triathlon community.
