The Bermuda Women’s Division season resumed tonight at the Clyde Best Center of Excellence Field, with the Somerset Lady Trojans defeating the Dandy Stars 2-0.
The match remained a tightly contested affair throughout the first half, with both teams battling to a scoreless deadlock heading into the break.
However, the Somerset Lady Trojans found their breakthrough in the second half. In the 72nd minute, Jya Ratteray-Smith gave her team the crucial lead, finding the back of the net to make it 1-0.
The Lady Trojans then sealed their victory late in the game. In the 85th minute, Zemira Webb doubled their advantage, extending the lead to 2-0 and securing the win for Somerset.
This result marks a positive outing for the Somerset Lady Trojans as they continue their Women's Division campaign.
