The enthusiastic crowd were treated to two high-octane encounters as the young talents showcased their skills on the rink.
Presidents Edge Chiefs in Nine-Goal Thriller
The opening match saw the Hyannisport Presidents emerge victorious in a high-scoring affair against the Charlestown Chiefs, securing a 9-6 win.
The Hyannisport Presidents' attack was spearheaded by Kris Abramowski, who netted an impressive four goals. Eric Walker contributed a further two goals, while Rob Osborne, Ryan Bates, and Chris Oakley each added a goal to the tally. The Charlestown Chiefs fought hard, with Chris Grantier scoring four goals and Pete Brodsky adding a brace, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Presidents' firepower.
Blades and Ducks Can't Be Separated in Seven-Goal Stalemate
The second match of the evening provided just as much excitement, with the Broome County Blades and the Long Island Ducks battling to an entertaining 7-7 draw.
The Broome County Blades saw a balanced scoring effort, with Ryan Wilson, Josh Wilson, and Matt Mcphail each finding the back of the net twice. Brett Sheriffs added the other goal for the Blades. The Long Island Ducks responded with Theo Caimassidis leading their scoring with a hat-trick, while Jake Fenske and Bruce Sinclair each contributed two goals, ensuring the two teams couldn't be separated at the final whistle.
