Friths Sail to Ace Installers Regatta Triumph in St. George's
Alan Frith, alongside his crew Sarah Frith, navigated the waters of St. George’s Harbor with skill and consistency to claim victory in the Ace Installers Regatta.
The Frith duo demonstrated impressive form throughout the day, winning two of the three races that counted towards the overall standings. Their only blemish was a second-place finish in the other race, ultimately giving them a low score of 4 points and securing the regatta win.
Dale Brangman, accompanied by his crew Casano Dickinson, put in a strong challenge and finished second overall with 6 points. Their day saw a consistent performance, securing a third, a second, and a first-place finish in the three races.
Rounding out the podium was the crew of Maxwell Curtis and Wesley Tucker, who finished third with a total of 7 points. Curtis and Tucker ended their day on a high, winning the final race. They also recorded a second and a fourth-place finish earlier in the regatta.
The Ace Installers Regatta provided a day of competitive sailing in St. George's Harbor, with the Frith crew ultimately proving to be the most consistent performers to take home the top honours.

International Invitational Race Week Gets Underway in the Great Sound
The waters of the Great Sound are alive with competition as the Bermuda International Invitational Race Week Regatta has commenced, featuring spirited racing in both the International One-Design (IOD) and J105 fleets.
Eight elegant IOD boats are battling it out on the azure waters, while the faster J105 class sees a competitive fleet of five yachts vying for top honours.
Close Contest in IOD Fleet After Day One
After the opening day of racing in the IOD fleet, it's a transatlantic affair at the top of the leaderboard. Hannah Vincent from the USA and Ted Murphy from Canada share the early lead, both finishing the day with 6 points apiece. Each sailor recorded a second and a fourth-place finish in the day's races, highlighting the tight competition.
Just two points adrift and tied for third place are a trio of sailors, including Bermuda's own Bill McNiven, indicating a strong local presence in the IOD fleet and promising an exciting regatta ahead.
Barboza Dominates Early J105 Action
In the J105 fleet, Adam Barboza was crowned the Champion. After five races on the only day of racing saw Barboza sitting atop the standings with a net score of just 5 points. His dominance was clear as he impressively won the three of the five races, setting a high bar for his competitors.
Bermuda's Olympian Peter Bromby finished in second place with 10 net points, while a tie for third sees Kelsey Durham and Keith Chiappa both on 11 net points.
