The 35th edition of the 6 Days of Crédit Agricole continued with its second stage in Guadeloupe, and Bermudian cyclist Kaden Hopkins was once again in the peloton. The stage, a 101-kilometer race between Pointe-à-Pitre and Petit-Bourg, delivered another exciting day of racing.
Kévin Le Cunff (Team Madras Capesterre Belle-Eau) emerged victorious in the stage, clocking a winning time of 2 hours, 20 minutes, and 7 seconds. The race concluded with a close finish, as Taïno Cailliau (Rayon d'Argent) finished just 4 seconds behind Le Cunff, securing second place. Le Cunff's teammate, Damien Urcel, who won the first stage, continued his strong performance by finishing third, 11 seconds back.
Kaden Hopkins crossed the finish line in 62nd place with a time of 2 hours, 28 minutes, and 15 seconds. He finished 9 minutes and 8 seconds behind the stage winner, Le Cunff.
While Hopkins' finishing position placed him in the middle of the pack, the 6 Days of Crédit Agricole represents a challenging and valuable experience. Competing in a multi-stage race against a strong field of riders provides an opportunity to test endurance, tactical skills, and racing acumen.
Hopkins will look to analyze his performance and continue to compete strongly in the remaining stages of the 6 Days of Crédit Agricole. The race promises further exciting action as riders battle for overall victory.
