Chare Smith and his Uphill Castle Cricket Club teammates defeated Shapwick & Polden Cricket Club by 8 wickets in the Somerset T20 Sunday League Division 1 action.
Shapwick & Polden won the toss and elected to bat, they would score 160/4 in their allotted 20 overs, Jack Broughton was the top scorer with 100 not out, Smith was the pick of the Uphill Castle bowlers returning the figures of 4-0-23-2.
In reply Uphill Castle scored 162/2, Charlie Huke was the top scorer with 57 retired out, while Ollie Broughton was the pick of the Shapwick & Polden bowlers with figures of 4-0-30-2.
